Youth and Teen Way of the Woods
Program Description:
This 10-day course helps you delve deeper into the survival skills and craft work that were introduced in the Family, Youth and Teen Experience. We will teach advanced shelter, flint knapping, quickie bow making, bark baskets, advanced fire making, brain-tanning hides, advanced stalking and movement, coal burning bowls, pottery and much more. As we create from nature we build our relationship with it and really start to experience living as one with the Earth.
Ages and Prerequisites: Youth and Teens Age 10-17
This program is designed for youth and teens age 10-17. Must have completed Family, Youth or Teen Experience.

Fees:
$1350 single youth
* Please note fees increase by $30 if registering after the Early Registration Deadline.
Deposit: $200 per person attending is due at registration.
Balance: The balance for this program is due: Friday, July 3rd

Registration Deadline and Procedures
Early Registration Deadline: June 19, 2009
*Registrations are taken past the deadline, but if sufficient registration is not received by the deadline, the program will be cancelled. This allows time for our staff as well as participants who are flying to make transportation arrangements without fear of program cancellation. If flying in, please do not book flights until after the deadline.
Registration Procedures:
Print the registration form from the website or contact the office to receive via mail. Please make sure a separate medical information page is completed for each family member who will be attending. Submit completed application with the appropriate deposit. You will receive a confirmation including directions and equipment lists upon receipt.
